The 2AM Spaces Breakdown Nobody Clipped But Everyone Heard
There is a rule in Crypto Twitter that the really important Spaces happen at 2AM on a Tuesday. Nobody can explain this. It is simply true. And it was at precisely 2:17AM last Tuesday that @LilPumpFun, the nineteen-year-old developer behind WOOF, WOOF2, and the ill-fated WOOF: Reloaded, joined a community call to "address some concerns" and instead delivered what three attendees, independently and unprompted, described to The Daily Rug as "a full spiral."
The timeline, reconstructed from screenshots and the accounts of eleven listeners: @LilPumpFun joins muted. Unmutes. Immediately audible sounds of what one source describes as "either chips or emotional distress, possibly both." He opens by saying he wants to be "real with the community for once." The community, approximately 340 people at peak, goes very quiet. For the next forty minutes he discusses, in order: his parents not understanding him, the fact that Ansem never replied to his DM, a girl at his school who called his token "fake money," and what he describes as a vision he had "where Solana spoke to me and said keep building." No questions are taken. At 2:57AM he says "anyway, still bullish" and leaves the Space. The token is down 11% by morning. @LilPumpFun posts a laughing emoji and goes offline for six days.
